Our very first and very friendly talk on the theme of Home Education.
We can all find information about the theory behind Home Education on the internet, but what we will offer at this event is a personal testimony from a parent, our lovely Stacey Renphrey, who is actually living the process.
Like with anything parenting related, there are lots of myths behind what Home Education is. What we hope with this talk is to address these myths and give light to the reality behind choosing this type of education for our children.
We are by no means suggesting that you have to home-ed to be an attachment parent, even though, Home Education does tend to go in synch with AP values. We are simply hosting this talk as many of our parents (and others in the community) are very interested in this topic.
Although this event is free we do ask for a suggested donation of £3-5 as FairKind Child has very kindly agreed to close business to support this event, plus they are also providing us with hot drinks and biscuits! Please note that babies in arms are welcome but we do not have space to cater for toddlers or older children. We understand this is frustrating for some; we are however, looking into finding a way to stream the talk live for those who are interested but have to stay at home.
Spaces are limited so we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment. Email APUK Horsham at: firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your place.
